Direct from Las Vegas Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack On Tour Show at Parker Playhouse

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Direct from Las Vegas at the legendary Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Las Vegas Hilton), the critically-acclaimed production of Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack On Tour brings its stellar performance to the Parker Playhouse on Friday, February 3, 2012 and Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 8:00 p.m.

Celebrating 50 years of the Sandy's Rat Pack On Tour, this critically-acclaimed theatrical production features recorded voiceovers by the legendary comedian Buddy Hackett and performances by Sandy Hackett as Joey Bishop, David DeCosta as Frank Sinatra, Dezmond Meeks as Sammy Davis, Jr. and Tony Basile as Dean Martin and Lisa Dawn Miller as Frank’s one love.

“With highballs, hi-jinks and happy hours to spare, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Dean Martin are the enduring Kings of Cool.  They were substance with style, swing with swagger and a non-stop party that everyone wanted access to,” said Broadway World

The hit show is produced by Sandy Hackett, a powerhouse veteran writer/producer/actor and son of legendary comedian Buddy Hackett, along with his wife, producer/singer/songwriter Miller, daughter of the late legendary Motown songwriter Ron Miller.

In a guest column in the Las Vegas Sun, Miller wrote “we wanted to be different and stayed away from being a tribute show.  Instead, we are a theatrical production that gives our audience the experience of what it would have been like to witness the Rat Pack On Tour live onstage in 1960.”  As they continue on the Rat Pack tour, Hackett and Miller recently launched My Buddy, a new show paying homage to Sandy's father, legendary actor and comedian Buddy Hackett.  The multi-faceted one man show is currently booking dates for the 2012-2013 Broadway season. It's a story that has never been told until now: the life and times, the joy and pain of one of Hollywood and Las Vegas' greatest comic geniuses of all time.

The multi-talented Miller, co-producer of the show with Hackett and one of its featured performers, is gearing up to release her new album, “Wasn't I A Good Time” due out this spring.  The release features many of her father's songs discovered after his death in 2007, which have never been heard before, until now.  The production of her new music video has also been announced.  A remake of her father's song, "Used To Be,” originally released by Stevie Wonder, is slated for release this spring and makes a strong anti-bullying statement, an epidemic Miller cares passionately about.

Tickets are $36, $46 and $56.  Tickets and group discounts are available at (954) 462-0222 or select your seat online at www.parkerplayhouse.com.  Also, tickets are available for purchase at the Parker Playhouse Tuesday-Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
